Dianna Jimenez, CMA

Data Collector

Dianna Jimenez serves as a Data Collector and Research Assistant at the Pathokinesiology Lab at Rancho Los Amigos National Rehabilitation Center. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Health Promotion and Disease Prevention from the University of Southern California in 2021. During the COVID-19 pandemic, Dianna was a data collector in a research study evaluating the Abbott BinaxNOW rapid antigen tests for SARS-CoV-2 infection in children, focusing on its implications for school screening. Furthering her education, she became a certified Medical Assistant, where she conducted patient intakes, assisted in minor surgeries, and provided Spanish translation services in a Family Practice setting. Currently, Dianna is involved in data collection for the National Spinal Cord Injury Model Systems, aiming to enhance understanding of the life course of individuals with spinal cord injuries. In her free time, she enjoys hiking, exploring all things nature and watching movies!
